This is the final image we displayed at the exhibition at Kommune, we picked this one out of the final series as we thought it encapsulated all the aspects we have covered during this brief. It shows the side of friendship, with the bond showing through the image and the candid shot layered on top shows part of the models personality. It shows the emotion we wanted, the change in position in the fore ground shows a sort of confusion as if there is two things happening at once, the exact concept we wanted to show off. The lyrics we used on this piece are fitting with the concept as it implies that unless you've experienced the feelings of freedom northern soul brings you haven't experienced life to its fullest.
The colouring and layering are consistent of that used throughout the project in experimentation, and are effective at showing a twist in what is reality, the unrealistic colours would show the place in which a person is taken to in their head, with all the emotions of detaching from reality and loosing yourself to the music and the feeling, the reality in their head would be a twisted version of the truth, a more enjoyable, vibrant reality that lets you truly embrace every emotion you feel.
