Peak District

This post shows all the best images we took while on the Peak District location shoot at Longshaw, edited down from 800 images. The images have been put into categories, as an easier way to show them and for our convenience when editing.

Dancing Shots
We didn't get as many dancing shots at the peak district as we wanted this shoot to be more about being somewhere where you can fully emerge yourself with the feelings you get from the atmosphere and the music and the drugs. Again for this shoot we played some music and told the models a few moves to do while also letting them go with what felt comfortable.

Individual Shots

We wanted these shots to focus more on the styling without being solely style photos. The poses we got the models to do were inspired by the images we researched and the ones included in our mood boards. We wanted poses that could portray a feeling and also poses that were more staged but could also look like movement. We took these with the intention of these being the main body of images that show where you get taken, being alone with your thoughts and being embraced in the moment.

Group Shots

Again like with the group shots at City hall we wanted the group shots to show the bond between friends which was easily done for both shoots, these models being a band and having that bond already there and our city hall models being in a relationship with each other, it made capturing that side of relationships a lot easier and more natural.

Styling Shots

These shots were taken alongside taking the other images, we took these ones purely so we would have material in which to show of the clothes we picked and the clothes the models brought and the details each one has.

Landscape Shots

We too these shots incase during experimentation we wanted a literal image of the location, another way rather than using a model to show being taken to a place with no distractions.
